Day 87

There’s not much to muse over in today’s reading for me.

The division of land is completed. Cities of refuge were set up, and the towns for the Levites, just as instructed by God to Moses, by extension, the Israelites. The continuity in carrying out the instructions is impressive, and this is how ordinarily, there should be a seamless transition between governments to ensure continuity of good works.

After dividing all the land, Joshua also received his allotment from the Israelites, as commanded by God. 19:49–51
