Day 359

--

Merry Christmas! Though we aren’t in the Christmas story in today’s reading, the word today is still about the reason for this season — Jesus. There is a call to persevere in the faith, a warning against false prophets, the second coming of Jesus, and the fate of sinners. Today, as we celebrate Jesus’s first coming, his birth, we are called to always be the best version of ourselves in and through him. I love how Peter put in 2 Peter 1: 5–7: For this very reason, make every effort to add to your faith goodness; and to goodness, knowledge; and to knowledge, self-control; and to self-control, perseverance; and to perseverance, godliness; and to godliness, mutual affection; and to mutual affection, love.

Daily Bible Musings

My musings from reading the entire bible (chronological). Not a Preacher. Unravelling what I’ve been told about God to knowing him for myself
