I found myself reciting a lot from today’s Psalms. Passages that I had memorised growing up and church songs. I understand that when you learn things when you are young, they tend to stick with you for the rest of your life. That’s interesting.
Some of these passages have not come back to me naturally in going through life. But I can say today that many of them came alive to me, given that I have spent many more years as an adult. In my reflection, the Psalms bred new life into my heart, which is beyond a memory verse or a song, but deeper, and that, I am thankful for.
